Extended Day Preschool Information

This program is funded through the Illinois State Board of Education Preschool For All Expansion Grant.  This multi-year grant has allowed the Moline-Coal Valley School District to offer all-day programming for up to 100 extra preschool-aged children.

If you are interested in the expanded day program, please contact Jefferson to schedule a free screening appointment for your child.  Your child needs to be screened at Jefferson to determine whether they meet the requirements below and qualify for the program. 

  • Child must have 1 year of preschool before entering Kindergarten.
  • Child must be 4 years old. 
  • Family/guardian must reside within the boundary where an extended day program is available.

Bell time

Class Start Time: 8:15 a.m.

Class Dismissal Time: 1:15  p.m. (all children who ride the bus at the end of the instructional day)

Quiet Time is available for families until 2:30 p.m.
